2024 Holiday Trash Pickup Schedule

Here is Bliss Environmental Services’ trash and recycling pickup schedule for the Village of Canastota in 2024.

Week of Memorial Day (Monday, May 27th)
All routes are delayed one day.

Week of Independence Day (Thursday, July 4th)
Monday’s and Tuesday’s routes are normal.

Week of Labor Day (Monday, Sept 2nd)
All routes are delayed one day.

Week of Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 28th)
Monday’s and Tuesday’s routes are normal.

Week of Christmas (Wednesday, December 25th)
Monday’s and Tuesday’s routes are normal.

Week of New Year’s Day (Wednesday, January 1st)
Monday’s and Tuesday’s routes are normal.

Other holidays which fall on Mondays such as Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, and Columbus Day do not affect trash/recycling pickup.

Bliss asks that all property owners place their cans and bins out to the curb the night before a holiday pickup listed above, as holiday pickup times may differ from the typical schedule.
