Notice to Bidders – Municipal Building Renovation Project

LEGAL NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village of Canastota will receive Sealed Bids for the MUNICIPAL BUILDING WALL REPLACEMENT AND BATHROOM RENOVATION PROJECT addressed to the Village Administrator at 205 South Peterboro Street, Canastota, New York 13032, until 4:00 PM on FEBRUARY 21, 2024.  Bids will be opened at the Village of Canastota Board of Trustees meeting beginning at 7:00 PM on February 21, 2024 at 205 South Peterboro Street, Canastota, New York.

Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the above address and shall bear, on the face, the name and address of the bidder and shall be marked “2024 Wall Replacement and Bathroom Renovations”.

There will be a pre-construction meeting on January 31, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Canastota-Lenox Municipal Building, located at 205 S. Peterboro Street. The Engineer and Village/Town representatives will be available. All interested parties are strongly encouraged to attend.

Copies of plans and bid forms may be obtained via email at village@canastota.com. Questions regarding the project may also be submitted to that email address.

The Village of Canastota and Town of Lenox reserve the right to reject any and all bids offered, and further reserve the right to delay awarding the contract for a period up to 45 days from the date the bids are opened. All bidders are required to submit a non-collusive bidding certification in compliance with Section 103-D of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York.
