2024 Canastota village election information

CANASTOTA, NY – Elections will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 for the positions of Mayor of Canastota and two members of the Village Board of Trustees.

This year’s elections will be held at the St. Agatha’s Church Parish Center, located at 110 Wilson Avenue, Canastota, due to upcoming renovations to the Canastota-Lenox Municipal Building on S. Peterboro Street. The polls will be open from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Below is a sample of the ballot which will be used on election day. Incumbent Mayor Rosanne Warner and Trustees Douglas Gustin and Jeffrey Watkins are running unopposed.

GENERAL VILLAGE ELECTION

POLLS OPEN NOON UNTIL 9:00 P.M.

There will be a General Village Election held in the Village of Canastota on March 19, 2024.  The voting will take place between the hours of Noon and 9 p.m.  The Village has one polling place, located at St. Agatha’s Parish Center, 110 Wilson Avenue, Canastota, New York.  The positions to be voted on are Village Trustee, two seats, for four-year terms and Village Mayor, one seat for four-year term.  The names and addresses of the candidates are as follows:
