Clark Park Community Sign policy
The Village of Canastota operates a community monument sign in Clark Park, which is located at the corner of Route 5 (Seneca Turnpike) and Route 13 (Peterboro Street), across from the Tops plaza. The sign offers local non-profit organizations the ability to promote events and activities which are open to the public.
Organizations may submit a request with the Canastota village office to have their event(s) listed on the sign. However, there are a few guidelines that the public should be aware of:
– There is only enough space for three events to be promoted at the same time.
– Requests will be considered on a first come, first served basis.
– Events sponsored by the Village and its departments will be given top priority.
– Organizations and their events must be located within the greater Canastota/Lenox area.
– Requests to advertise private for-profit ventures or businesses will not be considered.
– The Village reserves the right to change the format or duration of a listing to fairly accommodate other events.
– The Village office will make every effort to distribute time and space on the sign equally and fairly.
A copy of the sign request form may be downloaded below and returned to the Canastota village office at 205 S. Peterboro Street or via email to village@canastota.com.
