Free yard waste punch cards

The Canastota village office (through the Town of Lenox) has a received a supply of yard waste punch cards from Madison County Solid Waste & Recycling, which can be used at the county’s transfer stations.

Residents of the village and/or town can come to the Canastota-Lenox Municipal Building located at 205 S. Peterboro Street during regular business hours (8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday) to pick up one free punch card per household.

This is in addition to the regular village DPW yard waste pickup program, which resumes in April.
