2024 Village Election Results

CANASTOTA, NY – The Madison County Board of Elections has reported unofficial results for the Canastota village elections held on March 19, 2024.

Three seats were up for election: Mayor and Village Trustee (x2). All three races were uncontested.

MAYOR
Rosanne Warner (Republican): 67 votes
Rosanne Warner (Transparency): 4 votes
Total: 71 votes

TRUSTEE
Douglas Gustin (Republican): 65 votes
Jeffrey Watkins (Republican): 52 votes

Upon certification by the Board of Elections, the Village Board of Trustees will be comprised of the following members for 2024-2025:

Rosanne Warner, Mayor
Doug Gustin, Deputy Mayor/Trustee
Jeff Watkins, Trustee
Bill Haddad, Trustee
Lori Torrey, Trustee

The Board of Trustees’ organizational meeting will take place on Monday, April 1, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the Canastota-Lenox Municipal Building, 205 S. Peterboro Street, Canastota.
