Holiday trash pickup and village office schedule

The Canastota village office will be closed on the following dates in observance of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays:

Friday, December 23
Monday, December 26
Monday, January 2

Trash and recyclables will be picked up on their regular schedules. The Department of Public Works will be on call for snow removal.

The Board of Trustees meeting usually held on the first Monday in January will instead be held on Wednesday, January 4 at 7:00 p.m. in the village hall.

The Board of Trustees meeting usually held on the third Monday in January (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day) will instead be held on Wednesday, January 18 at 7:00 p.m. in the village hall.
