Reminder: No overnight on-street parking November 1 – April 1

CANASTOTA, NY – As fall moves toward winter, the Village of Canastota would like to remind residents of the local ordinances governing overnight parking within the village limits:

Local Law 216-18: All night parking during winter months.

[Added 11-1-1999 by L.L. No. 8-1999; amended 12-20-2021 by L.L. No. 1-2022]

A. The parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited on all highways within the Village between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. from November 1 to April 1 of each year.

B. The parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited in the Joint Town and Village parking lot adjacent to the Town/Village Municipal Building (from Center Street southerly to Railroad Street then westerly to Depot Street) between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. from November 1 to April 1 of each year.
