Fire Department Training at Graziano’s

The Canastota FD would like to thank the Oneida Indian Nation for the opportunity to use the buildings for training the firefighters. It is difficult to train in a multiple occupancy building and there are limited options for those trainings. This is a great opportunity to practice many scenarios to sharpen the skills at search and rescue, radio communications, and also truck operations. The FD plans to do training with neighboring departments so we can train together, which is necessary with the manpower shortages.

The training will be on Wednesday nights at 7pm. Any interested members may stop by and observe what they do and applications will be available if you would like to join.
