Notice of adoption of bond resolution

NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF BOND RESOLUTION
SUBJECT TO PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Canastota, Madison County, New York (the “Village”), at a meeting held on July 18, 2022, adopted a bond resolution, which is subject to a permissive referendum, that authorizes the issuance of up to $1,685,000 serial bonds of the Village to finance the reconstruction and improvement of the Village sanitary sewer system, including acquisition of land or rights in land, and original furnishings, equipment, machinery or apparatus required in connection therewith.

The period of probable usefulness is forty (40) years and the bonds are payable from amounts to be annually levied on all the taxable real property in the Village.
